Control Union Pesca is pleased to announce that we were successful in our year three surveillance Head Office assessment, undertaken by Assurance Services International; the assurance partner for the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC).

Maruto Suisan based in Aioi, Hyogo Prefecture (Japan), has successfully undergone a full assessment to obtain the MSC fishery certification for the Okayama oyster fishery in the Setouchi Inland Sea.

Doggerbank Seefisherei GmbH was founded in 1986 in Bremerhaven, and is daughter company of the Dutch company Parlevliet & Van der Plas. There are 4 German vessels with the Greenland fishing authorisation to fish for Greenland halibut included in the assessment. Doggerbank Seefischerei already obtained MSC fishery certification for its cod, haddock and saith fisheries.
